Wire ШВВП 2х0.5 represents a connecting flexible cable with two parallel-laid copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², covered with insulation and a sheath made of PVC compound. The multi-wire construction of the current-carrying conductor – 16 wires with a diameter of 0.2 mm made of high-quality copper ensures class 5 flexibility according to GOST, guaranteeing long-term operation even under conditions of frequent bends and movements. The insulation of the conductors made of PVC compound has distinctive coloring. The presence of talc inside — between the insulation and the outer sheath prevents sticking of the elements and facilitates stripping of the wire during installation, eliminating internal damage. The outer sheath made of PVC compound with filling of the gaps between the conductors gives the cable additional strength, excellently protects against mechanical damage and kinks, preserving its integrity and ensuring a prolonged service life.
Thanks to the flat construction, it is distinguished by compactness, ease of laying and is widely used for manufacturing power cords and extension cords of low power.
