The high-quality LAN S/FTP cable belongs to category 8 and contains 8 stranded copper cores forming 4 shielded twisted pairs with a conductor diameter of 26 AWG, additionally covered by a common foil shield and a braid of tinned wires. Each conductor is insulated with high-density polyethylene with color identification. The internal construction of the cord also includes a drain wire for grounding.
The conductor made of high-purity oxygen-free copper provides excellent signal conductivity. Individual pair shielding with aluminum foil combined with common braided armoring guarantees reliable protection from electromagnetic interference, which is especially important in conditions of high density of network equipment, where the presence of interference can seriously reduce data transmission quality. The outer sheath made of non-flammable, halogen-free LSZH compound is resistant to wear and damage, and meets low smoke and gas emission standards, making the cord safe for use in enclosed spaces. One of the advantages of the product is also the significant flexibility of the wire for more convenient installation.
The product package includes shielded RJ-45 connectors in quantities of 20 pcs. for self-crimping of the twisted pair.
