Cables HDMI
About the brand
GCR is a Russian brand with full-cycle in-house production: from copper wire rod to finished product packaging. The company does not outsource any production stages to third-party contractors and maintains quality control at every step.
GCR products are included in the Ministry of Industry and Trade registry (GISP). This confirms production localization, compliance with Government Decree No. 719, and the ability to work with government and corporate clients without additional certification procedures.
Cable and cord: definitions according to GOST 15845-80
GCR's product range includes both types of products. The difference between them is defined by the standard and determined by operating conditions:
- Cable — for fixed installation. The sheath is reinforced and provides protection against external influences. Suitable for wall mounting, cable ducts, and outdoor areas.
- Cord — for flexible connections. More flexible, designed for frequent reconnection and movement of equipment.
Each model is designed for its specific purpose: fixed installation or flexible connection.
Technology and specifications
GCR cables support HDMI 2.1 with data transfer speeds of up to 48 Gbps. This is a standard requirement for modern high-resolution video.
What GCR cables transmit:
- 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120/144 Hz;
- HDR, eARC, VRR, ALLM, QMS, QFT;
- HDCP 2.2 and 2.3 content protection.
Specifications are verified by testing each batch.
Materials
Budget cables often use copper with impurities, which increases conductor resistance. GCR uses oxygen‑free copper (OFC): fewer impurities — lower resistance — more stable signal.
Contacts are gold‑plated with 24K gold. The coating protects against oxidation and maintains stable impedance over long‑term use.
Shielding in professional series is triple:
- foil on each differential pair — reduces crosstalk inside the cable;
- overall foil screen — protects against external high‑frequency interference;
- braid (copper or steel, depending on the model) — suppresses low‑frequency noise and additionally reinforces the cable.
The GCR PRO series is equipped with ferrite filters to suppress high‑frequency noise.
GCR cables are designed to operate near power lines, server equipment, and industrial installations.
Series
GCR offers more than 50 models. The series differ in construction and purpose.
| Series | Application environment | Key feature |
| GCR Basic | Home and office equipment | Flexible cable, compact connectors, short‑distance operation |
| GCR Active | Lines up to 30 m | Built‑in amplifier compensates for signal attenuation |
| GCR PRO | Gaming, professional installation, heavy use | HDMI 2.1, triple shielding, bend protection, nylon braid |
| GCR Outdoor | Outdoor installation: UV, moisture, temperature extremes | XLPE insulation, operating temperature up to +90°C |
| GCR AOC | Lines up to 200 m | Fiber optic instead of copper, EMI protection, low attenuation over distance |
Manufacturing
The production facility is the Pskov Computer and Mobile Cable Plant (PZK MK). ISO 9001 certified.
Production stages:
- Drawing copper wire from rod.
- Extrusion of insulation and outer sheath.
- Application of braid and multi‑layer shielding.
- Laser marking.
- Electrical and mechanical testing.
Each cable undergoes bench testing. At critical operations, inspection is 100% rather than sample‑based.
For business and government clients
GCR is a supplier with confirmed Russian status. The GISP registry entry allows participation in tenders under 44‑FZ and 223‑FZ without additional localization verification.
Shipments are made directly from a warehouse in Russia, without intermediaries. GCR engineers assist in selecting cables for the client's infrastructure: by distance, environmental conditions, and bandwidth requirements.
Brand philosophy
GCR does not build an ecosystem around its products. The company's goal is to make a cable that works reliably in any conditions.
HDMI cable reliability is determined by materials, shielding, and conductor length. GCR designs these parameters for specific use cases, rather than adding features for marketing purposes.
A cable that works flawlessly requires no attention. Only the picture and sound remain.
Cable selection
The catalog lists all models with technical specifications: length, connector type, series. Filters help you choose the right cable for your task.
For custom installations, you can send a request to GCR engineers. Selection is based on three parameters: distance, environmental conditions, and bandwidth requirements.
