This "twisted pair" cable of category 5e ПЗКМК-FUTP5e-XOM from ПЗКМК TM GREENCONNECT represents a shielded design. F/UTP includes a common foil screen and eight copper solid conductors (Solid), forming 4 twisted pairs, which makes the cable ideal for fixed installation in conditions of possible electromagnetic interference.
The key feature is the twist pitch of the pairs:
To ensure high attenuation characteristics and protection against interference (NEXT, ACR), each of the four pairs has its own carefully calculated twist pitch (number of twists per meter):
Blue pair: ~ 10-12 twists/meter
Orange pair: ~ 14-16 twists/meter
Green pair: ~ 12-14 twists/meter
Brown pair: ~ 16-18 twists/meter

Different twist pitches prevent electromagnetic influence of pairs on each other, which is a fundamental requirement for operation at high frequencies and achieving speeds of 1 Gbit/s.

Each conductor is insulated with high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The outer sheath made of polyethylene (PE) is a specialized solution for outdoor use where resistance to solar radiation and harsh weather conditions is required.
